  • Provide a Baptismal Certificate
  • Be in at least 7th grade at the beginning of the new school year (or 8th grade for second year students)
  • Fill out all required registration forms
  • Leave at least a $50 deposit (non-refundable) from the total registration fee.

Register for Confirmation

To register for confirmation, please visit the Mary Immaculate Church Office between May and July. For families who wish to register online, email [Elsa Arratia] for access to digital registration.

Submit Payment

The fees are as follows:

  • First Year: $110
  • Second Year $125
  • ROC+ $135

A $50 deposit (non refundable) is required upon registration. Fees can be paid in person at the Church office, or online via our [online portal]. If paying online via credit card, make sure to note "Confirmation Fee" in the Special Intentions box.

Complete 5 Service Projects

All candidates for confirmation must complete 5 service projects. Opportunities to serve will be organized by the Youth Ministry Department.

Attend a Sponsor Day

Every 2nd year confirmation candidate must attend the Sponsor meeting with his/her sponsor. More information about Sponsor Day will be shared during the program.

Attend Weekly Class

Candidates are expected to attend each weekly session and are allowed no more than 3 excused absences. Calendars will be sent to families at the beginning of the program year.

Attend Confirmation Retreat

Candidates must attend a retreat during their 2nd year in order to be confirmed. The retreat provides opportunities to deepen the relationships that candidates have with one another and with God. If the candidate cannot attend the Mary Immaculate Retreat, he/she must attend a Confirmation retreat at another parish.

Attend Weekly Mass

Candidates are expected to attend Mass every Sunday. Attending Mass every Sunday is a part of practicing our Catholic faith, it provides the opportunity to be involved in the Church community, and it is the place where we receive the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist.

Complete a "Saint Report"

Candidates must select a saint whose name they will take at his/her confirmation. Your confirmation saint should be someone you feel connected to; he/she is meant to be a role model of holiness and is someone to intercede for you in Heaven.

Pick a Sponsor

All 2nd year students will have to pick a sponsor for his/her confirmation. Sponsors must be considered qualified. A qualified sponsor is:

  • At least 16 years of age
  • A practicing Catholic who has been confirmed and who has already received the Sacrament of First Communion
  • If the sponsor is married, he/she must have been married in the Catholic Church
  • Not a father, mother, or step-parent of the candidate
