Community of Faith

Family Catechesis

The ministry of evangelization carried out by Christian parents is original and irreplaceable. It assumes the characteristics typical of family life itself, which should be interwoven with love, simplicity, practicality and daily witness.
— St. John Paul II, in Familiaris Consortio

SOMETHING NEW!

For the 2019-2020 school year, we are offering a new form of family formation that would take the place of our standard religious education program for children Pre-K through 6th grade. Families will have the option to register and take part in our Community of Faith, OR to enroll in the standard weekly religious education.

What is it?

A Community of Faith is designed to help empower entire families to grow in faith together. By attending two gatherings each month, families will obtain formation to teach their children about their Catholic faith in the home. Click here to view a sample preview of the materials we will be using.

Details

  • $100 per family

  • Typically the 2nd & 3rd Sunday of the Month from 9:00-12:00pm including 10:45 English Mass

  • 9:00-10:30AM in the Parish Hall

  • Classes run from September to May

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult

  • Families may choose this option if their child is in their second year of First Communion preparation. The child would need to attend the two children’s workshops in addition to Community of Faith.
