DAY OF THE EVENT (March 16th and april 13th):

Please arrive at the Mary Immaculate Catholic School Cafeteria between 12:30 PM and 12:50 PM. We will begin PROMPTLY at 1:00 pm. The event lasts around 1.5 hours and we take a group photo at the end.

This is a family friendly event, but remember that children are never to be left unattended. You are responsible for anyone under 18y/o that is with you.

PRIOR TO THE EVENT:

Head over to the store and pick up the product. Remember, the more product that is brought… The more meals we will make.

Bringing a group? Please let everyone in the group know the list of items of what to bring.

Here’s what to bring:

We request that each person attending brings some product. You can bring any of the items in any combination, but this is what we recommend...

  • Meat: Please try to make this turkey, chicken or ham (no bologna, please!); Unfortunately, we cannot accept any meat from the deli counter. We will put 3 slices of meat on each sandwich.

  • Cheese: 16 slices each of cheese (no spicy cheese please!)

  • Bread: Try to find a loaf that has 20 slices (not including the ends); We definitely prefer wheat

  • 1 bag of Halos, Cuties or tangerines

  • 1-2 bags of chips (not the individual bags)

  • 100 count of Sandwich Bags (make sure they zip)

PLEASE TRY TO BRING AN EQUAL AMOUNT OF MEAT, CHEESE & BREAD. Example: If you bring enough slices of cheese for 72 sandwiches, bring enough meat and bread for 72 sandwiches.

Remember, anyone can attend our events. We make this a fun atmosphere for all ages. Remember, you are responsible for anyone under 18 y/o that is in your group.

FAQ’s

Q: Do we need to register?

A: No you do not. Simply show up the day of the event. We love if you put going on Facebook, because it helps spread the message.

Q: What do we wear?

A: We would love if you wore orange (but not required), make sure your hair is pulled back, so it doesn't hang in your face or wear a ball cap.

Q: How many people can I bring?

A: As many as you want.

Q: Is there an age limit?

A: Not at all. Anyone can join.

Q: Can I leave early if I have to be somewhere else?

A: Yes you can. The event lasts around 1.5 hours and we take a group pic at the end.

Q: Can we donate money instead?

A: We prefer that you bring the product to the event rather than money.

What is TangoTab?

TangoTab isn’t a sandwich event, but we love bringing people together to make an impact in their own community. We do that through our Feed The City events, but through TangoTab you can make an even bigger impact and it won’t cost you a cent.
TangoTab is a mobile app that you use to find and check-in at restaurants. Every time you check-in at a restaurant on the app, TangoTab provides a free meal to a person in need, locally.
