Are you interested in growing in your relationship with God? Sign up for Encounter, a program for young adults focused on growth in prayer and discipleship. In Encounter, you will learn to pray in the beautiful tradition of Lectio Divina and encounter Jesus in silent adoration. Attend small group sessions, each with a different Lectio Divina Guide, on the Rosary, the Apostles’ Creed, or the Stations of the Cross. For more information on Lectio Divina, check out the link on our Prayer page. Each week in Encounter, you will attend 1 or 2 small group sessions as mentioned above, a big group meeting focused on Sunday’s Gospel, and spend 2-4 hours in silent adoration with Jesus. Sessions for Encounter during the 2013 Lenten season will be hosted at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, TX and will begin on Monday, February 18th and run through Monday, March 25th of Holy Week.

Testimonials from Past Encounters
“I can feel the love that Jesus has poured out on me when I focus on Him in prayer and just be with Him.”
"I feel closer to God; I have more hope and confidence. It is like this: when you love someone you need to know more, so I feel that now I know more about God."
"Each time I pray, I feel peace and calmness. No worries here…it taught me how to listen to God."
"My relationship with God has increased two-fold and because of the Advent Encounter I am prepared to celebrate the Incarnation of our Lord."
"Encounter was amazing. Besides giving me a set time for adoration, I got to further experience how God gives light and understanding to anyone who seeks sincerely. It also helped me to get fruit from the prayer of others on days when I may have been feeling distant from God."
