Council 5052
Celebrating 50 years of service to Church, Community and Mankind
This is a special year for Council 5052 of Farmers Branch, in that we will be celebrating 50 years of success and service to our Church, Community, and the less fortunate.
November 13, 2010 will be the exact date of our anniversary. For the past several months we've been planning our celebration. Please make note of the following planned activities:
- Nov 07: Sunday, at Mary Immaculate, 7:30am Mass, followed by a major degree at our Hall
- Nov 10: Wednesday, 6:30pm, Pizza and Beer party at our Hall
- Nov 13: Saturday, 6:00pm, Formal Anniversary Dinner and Celebration at our Hall
- Nov 14: Sunday, at Mary Immaculate, 730am Anniversary Mass
- Nov 16: Tuesday at our Hall, 7:00pm, Memorial Mass for our deceased Brothers
Please bring your family and join us. Write these activities on your calendars. We'll share some special memories, and have a great time together.
We have a great council and have plans to continue our good deeds. We are always looking for new members to our organization.
If you are not yet a Knight of Columbus this would be a great opportunity to join during our 50th year as a Knights of Columbus Council.
Family Dinners Starting Up Again
Once again Knights of Columbus Council 5052 will be hosting Dinners every 2nd Friday of the month starting in September and running through to May.
These dinners are open to everyone not just Knights. Most dinners will be priced at about $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12. As always we will be serving a different menu each month relative to the season.
In addition to these dinners we will be serving seafood (Lenten) dinners every Friday during Lent. I will be posting the complete menus soon.
Again, these dinners are open to all. We would be pleased to have you attend whenever possible.
