Confirmation Process - 2nd Year

Confirmation Process
 
2nd Year can be completed
in one of two ways:
 
   (a youth only has to do one of the following)
 
 
1. Be registered with the Youth Office, attend 11 Youth Events plus the 8 mandatory events, complete 3 community service projects, write a Saint Report and a Letter to the Bishop stating one's desire to get confirmed.
   
or
 
 
2. Be registered with the Youth Office, and complete the Home Study Program.
 
(The Home Study Program is reserved for the few youth that have extreme special needs.)
 
 
2nd year is completed in
8th Grade because
we typically Confirm
in 8th Grade
 
 
Registration for 2nd Year Confirmation and the Home Study Program are typically done in May of the preceding school year. Example: Registration for the 2010-11 school year would be done in May of 2010.

3. Any High School Senior may receive Confirmation in one year (some basic requirements must be met).
